Volunteers are the lifeblood of local non-profit organizations, like Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell and our ReStore located in North Billerica, Massachusetts!
Volunteers of all ages and walks of life across
the Merrimack Valley have donated their time and talents to support affordable
housing in their community. At our
ReStore alone, about 150 volunteers have contributed an average of 350 hours of service every month of 2021, aiding in
the store’s ability to keep prices low and sales — and impact — high. Three very special people regularly volunteer each week -- Michael B.,
Richard D. and Sean H. -- they have actually volunteered over 500 total hours last year to
support our mission. These and all of our volunteers are making a real difference in people’s lives, so we thank you!
On a much broader scale, there are so many more
opportunities to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity …
1) on a build site as an individual
2) with a group as part of a team build day with family, friends or your
company
3) commit to a long-term volunteer opportunity at local Habitat or ReStore
