Volunteers are the lifeblood of local non-profit organizations, like Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell and our ReStore located in North Billerica, Massachusetts ! Volunteers of all ages and walks of life across the Merrimack Valley have donated their time and talents to support affordable housing in their community.   At our ReStore alone, about 150 volunteers have contributed an average of 350 hours of service every month   of 2021 , aiding in the store’s ability to keep prices low and sales — and impact — high.    Three very special people regularly volunteer each week -- Michael B., Richard D. and Sean H. -- they have actually volunteered over 500 total hours last year to support our mission. These and all of our volunteers are making a real difference in people’s lives, so we thank you! R eco lor® Paints located in Hanover, Massachusetts was founded in 2009 by two women with backgrounds in painting, design and biochemistry who recognized a need to make use of surplus paint (which by many estimates amounts to tens of millions of gallons a year in the US).  Recolor’s goal is to provide an environmentally friendly paint product, using post-consumer materials .  Our women-owned business collects leftover paint from cities and towns, property managers, paint contractors, business owners and homeowners.
